Your Psychologist

Clayton Kuzma is a psychologist with over 10 years’ experience helping men on the Sunshine Coast.

  • Master of Professional Psychology
  • Bachelor of Psychology (Hons)
  • Member, Australian Psychological Society

As a psychologist specializing in men’s mental health, relationships coaching for men, and therapy for men, I have facilitated thousands of sessions and programs to help men navigate mental health challenges, relationship struggles, and personal growth.

My approach to psychology for men is practical, relatable, and tailored to support emotional well-being, resilience, and self-awareness. Whether addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues, I provide strategies that empower men to lead more fulfilling, balanced lives.

With a diverse background—including experience as a tradesman, complementary health practitioner, partner, and father—I bring a unique, down-to-earth perspective to my work. I understand firsthand the pressures men face in relationships, career, and life transitions, and I integrate evidence-based psychological therapies with holistic approaches to offer well-rounded support.

I draw upon leading therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Solution Focused Therapy.

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me in the ocean—surfing or free diving—connecting with nature as a vital part of my own well-being.

Professional Qualifications

  • Master of Professional Psychology, Sunshine Coast University
  • Bachelor of Psychology (Hons), Griffith University

Professional Development

I have trained with some of the world’s leading experts in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), including Dr. Steven Hayes, Russ Harris, and Dr. Louise Hayes. I have also studied Internal Family Systems (IFS) with leading practitioners, including Richard Schwartz.

Beyond my formal psychological training, I have undertaken extensive studies in Tibetan medicine, Buddhist practice, Ayurvedic medicine, yoga, and meditation philosophy. This broad foundation enables me to support men holistically—helping them not only with psychological strategies but also with lifestyle, mindfulness, and well-being practices that foster long-term resilience and growth.
